Sustainability
The best time to go electric was 100 years ago. The next best time is now.
Electricity is not automatically clean, and neither are electric vehicles. Electricity can still come from non-renewable sources, and seeing an EV charged by a diesel generator makes no sense. But infrastructure and cleaner solutions will not develop without demand. To accelerate the transition, people need electric alternatives that are good enough.
At ReBake, we’re a tiny company with a big goal: to build an all-electric product line so useful that riders don’t have to sacrifice the things they need from a vehicle. It needs to go far enough, be easy to charge, carry a passenger and all the stuff you would normally put in a small car. It needs to be reliable, and if something does happen, straightforward to repair. You should be able to ride from home to work and back without worrying about range, all in a package and at a price that makes sense.
Built to last
The Abler uses components and dimensions normally found on heavier, faster bikes. That means less maintenance, a vehicle you can trust, and less wear and tear over time. Building things to last is also one of the simplest ways to slow the pace of consumption.
Battery longevity
Our removable LFP batteries combine useful range with the convenience of charging wherever there is a standard outlet. LFP chemistry is designed for a long service life.
Carry more. Use the car less
Being able to haul stuff on two wheels is fundamental if an electric vehicle is going to replace more car journeys. The Abler is built around cargo from the start. Bags, boxes, crates and accessories can be attached around the bike, allowing every rider to build it around their own life: weekdays, weekends, work and everything in between.
You don’t need to buy your solution from us. We built the platform so you can make it yours.
What the Abler is made of
The Abler is predominantly aluminium and steel, together accounting for more than 75% of its material weight. Plastics account for less than 2%.
